Need a roadworthy certificate?
Roadworthy certificates (RWC) are required in Queensland when you- Buy or sell a motorcycle, are transferring a registration from interstate or if a registration has expired by 2 months or more. Black Mountain Motorcycles are an approved inspection station and provide on-site inspections at your home or workplace. We make getting your safety certificate convenient and hassle-free.
This inspection covers the basic vehicle safety standards for many components including:
- tires
- brakes
- steering
- suspension
- lights
- driveline
The Vehicle Inspection Manuals explain how a safety certificate inspection is performed and the reasons a vehicle may fail an inspection.
A safety certificate inspection is not a comprehensive mechanical inspection on the quality, or life expectancy of a motorcycle. If you are buying a used bike, we can arrange a full mechanical inspection.
